Take a warm shower right before bed.

Here are the reasons why:

A warm shower raises your body’s core temperature. After the shower, there’s a rapid cool-down period that mimics the natural decrease in body temperature associated with sleep onset. This drop in temperature signals to your body that it’s time to sleep, making it easier to fall asleep.

2. Relaxation and Stress Reduction:

Warm water helps to relax the muscles and can reduce tension in the body. This physical relaxation can translate into mental relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety levels, which are often barriers to falling asleep.

3. Melatonin Production:

The decrease in body temperature after a warm shower can also stimulate the production of melatonin, the hormone responsible for regulating sleep-wake cycles. Increased melatonin levels make it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep.
