Here’s the simple truth…
Many people believe drinking juices is a quick path to a healthier body: you lose weight, look youthful and radiant, and even clear up acne. But is it truly that simple?
Over time, I’ve learned a lot about different techniques to reduce stress and care for the body, and I discovered an effective beauty secret that’s often overlooked.
One big difference between health- and beauty-focused individuals who practice traditional wellness methods and others isn’t in their genes — it’s in their lifestyle.
Here’s why many wellness-focused people avoid juices for clear skin:
1️⃣ Juices Are Cold 🥶
Cold juices may feel refreshing, but they can actually stress your body. Just like being out in the cold for too long, drinking cold juice can prompt your body to respond as if it’s under stress, raising cortisol levels. And as cortisol levels increase, so can breakouts.
2️⃣ Juices Are Raw 🍏
Raw juices are hard on the digestive system. This constant challenge can trigger a “fight or flight” response, keeping the body on high alert and contributing to acne. This in turn increases stress — a cycle that can be tough to break.
So while juices may seem like a health fix, they might be more of a hindrance for clear skin. Instead, embracing a balanced diet and finding ways to reduce stress can often be a better path.
